Tokayev conveyed condolences to Kuwait’s Emir

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was deeply grieved at the tragic news of the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah," the presidential press service informed.
The telegram says that Sheikh Sabah was widely known as a shrewd and insightful politician, an outstanding peacemaker, his contribution to regional security and stability was highly appreciated by the international community. A vivid evidence to it is the awarding of the title of Humanitarian Leader to him by the United Nations. Kazakhstanis will always remember Sheikh Sabakh as a person who selflessly served his country and made a significant contribution to strengthening of friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kuwait.
