RK President tasked to provide villages with Internet before the year end
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the Government of the country to provide villages with a population of more than 250 thousand people with Internet, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"Distance learning has shown problems in the quality of infrastructure and the Internet. 20% of teachers, due to poor Internet and lack of computers, could not give lessons remotely," the President’s press service quoted the President as saying in Twitter.
“I instruct the Government to provide villages with a population of more than 250 thousand people with high-speed Internet by the year end. This is 99.3% of our citizens,” he added.
