Restructuring of state management is needed – Tokayev
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the need for the restructuring of public administration. He made such a statement during an extended meeting of the Government, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"The crisis has shown social imbalances in our society, skepticism and distrust of citizens towards local and central authorities. We need a reorganization of state administration. It will become part of a political reform that will significantly strengthen local self-government," the President’s press service quoted the President as saying in Twitter.
According to Tokayev, now a more important task is the selection of personnel to perform qualitatively new tasks. He noted that the new course needs new people - educated, decisive, proactive, business and honest ones.
“Now think: whether the team present here meets the specified criteria: I believe that the members of the Government and the akims will assess their capabilities and make a decision in favor of the state,” the President added.
