President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, refers to the press service of Akorda reporting.

During the meeting, Tokayev focused on the importance of further developing strategic partnership with Washington.

As the President noted, the United States of America is a major investor in the economy of Kazakhstan; trade-economic cooperation in energy, agriculture and new technologies is actively developing. Our countries have a solid legal framework, continue fruitful interaction in the culture- humanitarian and educational areas.

Yerzhan Ashikbayev was given a number of instructions aimed at building mutually beneficial cooperation with President Joseph Biden’s administration.
