President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev doubted the readiness of the Ministry of Education and Science for the new school year. This became known at an extended meeting of the Government, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"On September 1, the new school year begins. I have doubts about the readiness of the ministry for this event. How will the children study - full-time or remotely? Are the teachers ready for the new school year?" - the President’s press service quotes the President on Twitter.
As he noted, only 40% of 400 thousand computers that are on the balance of schools were good for work.
"This is the result of the work of the akimats and the ministry. Akimats should quickly prepare for the new school year and provide the necessary equipment to schools and individual families in need," the President added.
