Nazarbayev noted peaceful course of Kazakhstan-Russia coop
Peaceful course of cooperation with the Russian Federation was noted by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, when he was making the annual state-of-the-nation address, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
"For successful modernization further progress is required, of course, and a proactive foreign policy. In this respect Kazakhstan’s relationship with the Russian Federation is a template of good interstate relations. And we will continue to pursue this course," said the head of state.
Nazarbayev listed other achievements of Kazakhstan in the foreign policy and cooperation with other countries and international organizations: the EAEU, China’s One Belt, One Road initiative that gave a new impetus to our relations with this country.
He also added that laying of fiber optic communication from China to Europe via Kazakhstan would be beneficial and instructed the Government to continue this work.
