Names of fallen heroes of Great Patriotic War will forever remain in memory of people - Tokayev
Our task is to prevent a repetition of a tragedy like the Great Patriotic War. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote about this on his Twitter account, recalling the tragic date of June 22, 1941 - the beginning of the Second World War, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"80 years ago, the Great Patriotic War began, which became the bloodiest in the history of mankind. Every second soldier called up from Kazakhstan died at the front. The names of the fallen heroes will forever remain in the memory of the people. Our task is to prevent a repetition of such a tragedy," the Head of State twitted.
