Measures to increase real incomes of the population are being nullified due to omissions in the control of product pricing, said President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a meeting on development of the Akmola region in Kokshetau, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"In Kokshetau, the rise of flour prices was maximum - almost 47%! Thus, all our measures to increase real incomes of the population are nullified. This indicates the absence of proper control over pricing," the press service of the President of Kazakhstan quotes Kassym -Jomart Tokayev on Twitter.
"There is no coordination between the Ministry of Economy, the Agriculture Ministry and the Ministry of Trade and Integration," said the Head of State.
"Stabilization funds have practically no stabilization effect on the food market. Threshold prices are not monitored. My order has not been fulfilled," the President emphasized.
