Kosshy became a town - presidential decree
The head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signed a decree on assigning the status of a town to the village Kosshy, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the Akmola region
In accordance with article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan" I DECIDE:
1. To reorganize the Tselinograd district of the Akmola region by separating the village Kosshy from it.
2. To classify the village Kosshy, Tselinograd district, Akmola region, to the category of a town of regional significance.
3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to take the necessary measures to implement paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Decree.
4. This Decree comes into effect from the day of its first official publication.
