Alexey Kalaychidi headed Security and Law Enforcement Department of RK Presidential Administration

By the order of the Head of State, Alexey Kalaychidi was appointed head of the Security and Law Enforcement Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; he was relieved of his post as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.

Alexey Kalaychidi was born on January 3, 1963. In 1985 he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, in 1990 - the Higher Courses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, in 2008 - the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov.

He began his career in July 1985 as a foreman of the special department No. 93 in Tokmak, Kyrgyz SSR, then worked as an engineer at the Yuzhgorselproekt state design institute in Shymkent.

He began his service in the internal affairs bodies in April 1990 as a criminal investigator of the criminal investigation department of the Abai District Department of Internal Affairs of the Chimkent region. He was an inspector, head of department, deputy head of department, head of department in the Department of Internal Affairs of the South Kazakhstan region and the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In 2005-2006, he headed the legal service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the personnel inspection. From November 2006 to March 2008, deputy head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Zhambyl region for educational and personnel work.

Since 2008, he worked in the Presidential Administration: as an inspector, head of a sector, deputy head of the Department of the Law Enforcement System.

In June 2016, by order of the Head of State, he was appointed head of the Department of the Law Enforcement System.

Since January 2019, he was the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was awarded the “Kurmet” order and 5 jubilee medals.
