Nazarbayev and Lukashenko discussed coop issues
The First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation with the Head of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the Elbasy press service.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Alexander Lukashenko highly assessed the dynamics of development of Kazakh-Belarusian cooperation based on traditional friendship and mutual understanding.
The interlocutors stated that thanks to mutual visits at various levels and implementation of joint agreements, intensive work is underway to increase the volume of bilateral trade to $ 1 billion per year.
The parties exchanged views on the measures taken by the governments of Kazakhstan and Belarus aimed at overcoming the coronavirus pandemic.
The Elbasy and the President of Belarus expressed mutual confidence in further strengthening of relations between the two states, including within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
At the end of the conversation, Nursultan Nazarbayev and Alexander Lukashenko discussed some issues of the regional and international agenda.
