Dariga Nazarbayeva invited Czech businessmen to expand coop with Kazakhstan

RK Senate Speaker Dariga Nazarbayeva met with the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Radek Vondraček, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed the prospects of joint projects in the field of agriculture, transit and transport infrastructure, energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and tourism.
Opening the meeting, Dariga Nazarbayeva said that the Czech Republic is one of the most promising trade and investment partners of Kazakhstan in the EU, and much attention is paid to deepening relations with this friendly country.
The Senate speaker invited Czech businessmen to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan.
“5 railways and 6 automobile routes pass through Kazakhstan, connecting Asian countries with Europe. Therefore, it is possible to consider Kazakhstan as a platform for implementing projects with the bordering countries,” D. Nazarbayeva said.
In turn, the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic praised the level of Kazakh-Czech relations, emphasized the great potential for their development.
Radek Vondraček also noted the importance of implementing the state program of infrastructure development "Nurly Zhol" and expressed interest in expanding cooperation between the two countries in this direction.
