Consultations held between offices of security councils of Kazakhstan and Belarus
On October 21, in Nur-Sultan, extended scheduled consultations were held between the offices of the security councils of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on topical aspects of security and interaction in this area.
Prospects for cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres were discussed, new challenges in the field of cybersecurity and in other areas were considered.
Given the continuation of the global pandemic of coronavirus infection, the agenda of the consultations included the issue of a biosafety management system in the new realities.
In addition, the Kazakh and Belarusian sides presented their approaches to organizing activities to assess national security risks.
As a result of the work, Assistant to the President - Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev and State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Volfovich signed a Cooperation Plan between the offices of the Security Councils of the two countries for 2022-2023.
