Two fires occurred in forests of Almaty region

In the Almaty region, there were two fires in forests, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"In the Almaty region, there were two fires in the woodlands. The first - on April 14 in the Balkhash area, due to a strong wind it moved to the Tau-Kum forest. Today, observation was made from the air by the plane of the Kazavialesokhrana RSE. According to the information, due to the cessation of gusts of wind, the spread of the fire stopped," the message says.
It is also noted that 30 people from the Kurtinsky KSU of forestry, a fire engine, a tractor, 5 cars, 6 people from the regional emergency department, 9 employees of the Kazavialesozashchita RSE, 6 people from the Zheltorangisky district were involved to extinguish the fire.
"Information about the area of the fire and the damage caused will be provided additionally after its localization. The second incident occurred on April 15 in the Ile-Balkhash State Natural Reserve. The place where the fire occurs is a wetland area. 9 people were sent to extinguish the fire", - concluded in the ministry.
