Taraz- Nur-Sultan flight returned to airport due to drunk brawler on board

The passenger plane that departed from Taraz returned to the airport because of a rowdy man on board, refers to the press service of the Transport Police department reporting.

It is reported that on April 8 at 15:30 the plane on Taraz - Nur-Sultan route that took off from Taraz, returned to the airport an hour later due to a destructive passenger. Upon arrival, the offender was handed over to officers of the Linear Police Department, and the plane took off again to its destination.

"A 56-year-old resident of Zhambyl region, while on board the aircraft in a state of alcoholic intoxication, behaved inadequately, was swearing, disobeyed the repeated demands of the crew and aircraft commander," the report says.

Three administrative protocols were drawn up against the man at once: hooliganism, drinking alcoholic beverages and appearing in public places intoxicated and breaking the rules of conduct on an aircraft. He was fined 13 MCI and is facing trial.
