Six people, including two children, died in accident in Turkestan region

In the Turkestan region, six people died in an accident, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the regional police department.
According to the police, on October 16, at about 19:14, a message about a fatal accident was received by the duty unit of the Shardara district police department.
"The investigation team immediately left for the scene. Upon arrival, the police found that on the 172 kilometer of the Zhetysai - Shardara highway, an Opel car, having entered the oncoming lane, made a head-on collision with an Audi car," the message says.
As a result of the road traffic accident, the drivers of two cars and 4 passengers, including two minors, were killed on the spot. 6 passengers were taken to the district hospital with various injuries.
This fact was registered in accordance with part 4 of article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Violation of the traffic rules and operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more persons."
The investigation is being carried out by the Turkestan region PD. A number of examinations have been appointed. During the pre-trial investigation, all the circumstances of the accident will be established.
