Health Ministry commented on information on death of Kazakhstani after vaccination

The official representative of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control, Yerzhan Baitanaev, denied information about the death of a man after receiving the vaccine against COVID-19, which is being distributed on Facebook, Kazpravda.kz reports.
Yerzhan Baitanaev noted that a man born in 1978 died on January 19 this year due to an increase in blood pressure.
"At the same time, he did not receive any vaccination. To date, the vaccine against coronavirus infection has not been imported to the Mangistau region. The delivery of the first batch of vaccine to the region is scheduled for January 28-29, 2021," he said.
According to him, first of all, in the region, it is planned to vaccinate medical workers of infectious diseases hospitals, emergency medical care, intensive care, primary care, emergency rooms, employees of the sanitary and epidemiological service.
"A deceased citizen does not belong to any of these categories. Dissemination of knowingly false information is punishable by a fine of up to 1,000 MCI or restriction or imprisonment for up to one year," Yerzhan Baitanaev concluded.
