Fighter jet crashed in Karaganda rgn
The plane of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan crashed in Karaganda region, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"On April 16, at about 20.45, during training flights, while landing in the aviation training center of Balkhash, the Su-30SM multifunctional fighter crashed," the press service of the Defense Ministry informed.
Reportedly, the plane's crew ejected, the pilots are under medical examination.
"They were taken to the Kh. Zh. Makazhanov clinic. The condition of one of them is assessed as satisfactory, and of the other - of moderate severity," the Defense Ministry said.
A special commission has left for the crash site to investigate the accident causes, the press service added.
