Turkic Council nations established tour operators consortium
Representatives of foreign companies noted South-Kazakhstan region’s potential in tourism, calling it the heart of the Silk Road.
Representatives of tourism companies from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey assembled for the VII meeting of the Turkic Council, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of South Kazakhstan region’s governorate.
The meeting discussed the program for creating a single tourism product "Modern Silk Road" and its promotion to the international tourism market. Memorandum was signed on the establishment of Turkic Council nations’ tour operators’ consortium.
Culture and Tourism Ministry of Turkey presented the program for 2016 on improving the service of the Turkic Council nations.
Deputy Adviser on EXPO 2017 Rosa Asanbaeva detailed on the planned hotel-train tour of Kazakhstan in the framework of the international exhibition.
