Transitional period to be extended to Kyrgyzstan until introduction of EAEU unified customs tariffs

At the plenary session Majilis approved ratification of amendments to the Protocol on the conditions and transitional provisions on the application by the Kyrgyz Republic of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, certain international treaties included in the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and acts of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in connection with the accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014 (Moscow, May 8, 2015), Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
As noted in the conclusion to the document, the Protocol is aimed at implementing agreements to extend the transition period for the Kyrgyz Republic until full implementation of the unified customs tariffs of the Eurasian Economic Union.
"The Protocol under consideration covers the sphere of customs and tariff regulation applied by the Kyrgyz Republic in relation to certain goods imported from third countries," the conclusion says.
