Ukrainian agroportal Latifundist.com made a rating of the largest landowning companies, which includes 3 Kazakhstan agroholdings, Kazpravda.kz reports.
Among the 10 biggest land owners are the Russian-Kazakhstan trans-border group Ivolga - with 1.5 million hectares (2nd place), KazExportAstyk holding - 1 million hectares (3rd place) and Agrocenter Astana LLP - 700 000 hectares (4th place).
In the first place is Chinese Beidahuang Group, which owns 5.4 million hectares. Next on the list (4 and 5 lines) are Argentine holdings El Tejar and Cresud respectively, each of which has 1 million hectares. In the 6th place is an American multinational investment group New Century Holding (800 000 ha). Holding UkrLandFarming (670 000 ha) is eighth in the list, Razguliay companies- 9th (500 000 ha), and Kernel LLC is 10th with 420 000 ha.
