RK Prime Minister inspected site of future tourist complex in Nur-Sultan
The construction site of the future multifunctional tourist complex in Nur-Sultan was visited by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, Kazpravda.kz reports.
According to the press service of the Prime Minister, the head of the Government inspected the construction of a multifunctional tourist complex in Nur-Sultan on the territory of the Astana-New City FEZ (to the west of the Barys Arena ice palace).
The project investor is Ellington Properties Development LLC from the UAE, and Renaissance Construction is the general contractor. The total cost of the project exceeds 1 trillion tenge.
The area of the complex will be 2.6 million square meters, the building area - 333 hectares. It will house a 15 thousand square meters water park, play areas, parks, terraces, office and commercial premises, hotels, social and housing infrastructure and other facilities.
The first phase of the project (29 hectares) is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2022. 21.3 thousand temporary and 2 thousand permanent jobs will be created. The head of government instructed to ensure the supply of the necessary engineering and communication infrastructure to the new district and to carry out all construction work in a high-quality manner on schedule.
The visit was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar, akim of Nur-Sultan Altay Kulginov, Ministers of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov, Finance - Erulan Zhamaubayev, Energy - Nurlan Nogayev, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports Gabidulla Abdrakhimov and others.
