NBK will hold lectures in regions on financial literacy improvement
The National Bank of Kazakhstan initiated a series of lectures on improving financial literacy in the regions, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the NBK.
"To improve financial literacy of the population, the National Bank of Kazakhstan resumes lectures in the regions on financial literacy on the topic" Financial literacy: role in modern society," the NBK informed.
The main goal of this project is to conduct a large-scale awareness campaign aimed at improving the financial literacy of people from all regions of the republic, the National Bank explained.
The first lectures start on June 26 in Karaganda.
According to the press service, the lectures will explain the work of the financial market, financial institutions and the products they offer, as well as the skills of using them, popular financial tools, the need for proper personal budget management, protecting the rights of consumers of financial services and a lot more.
Lectures will be held in the state and Russian languages in eight cities of Kazakhstan:
• Karaganda - June 26
• Ust-Kamenogorsk - July 15
• Taraz - August 19
• Shymkent - August 21
• Taldykorgan - August 23
• Almaty - August 26
• Kostanay - September 16
• Nur-Sultan - October 2.
