Mamin instructed to intensify fodder conservation work

Prime Minister Askar Mamin convened a session to decide on fodder conservation possibilities, Kazpravda.kz refers to the press service of the Prime Minister reporting.
Progress reports were made on the current situation and measures taken for the procurement of fodder, the situation in the regions, provision with fuel and lubricants for field works, water supply and provision of hayfields in specially protected areas.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to intensify work on forage conservation, interregional cooperation in the provision of hayfields, formation of fodder stocks for the needs of regions affected by drought, to take special control over the sale of fodder to the population at an affordable price.
Possibility will be examined for allocating funds from the Government's reserve for Food Contract Corporation JSC NC "for forward purchase of 200 000 tons of grain fodder.
The Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources was instructed to ensure the possibility of mowing in specially protected natural areas, the Ministry of Energy, together with the Ministry of Agriculture, was tasked to allocate more affordable fuels and lubricants for the haymaking season, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy- to provide a reduced tariff for the transportation of fodder to Mangistau and Kyzylorda regions.
