In Kazakhstan, families with many children received TSA worth over KZT 9 bn

Over 80 thousand Kazakhstani families received an updated targeted social assistance in the amount of 9.4 billion tenge, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“As part of the social measures of Elbasy, from April 1 this year, documents are being received for the updated targeted social assistance (TSA). Applications are accepted at employment centers and rural administrations. As of May 2 this year, a total of 148,649 applications (799,032 people) were submitted through the "E-Khalyk" system, 100,566 applications got positive decision, 41647 were under consideration," the statement reads.
According to the press service, most of the applicants are registered in Turkestan - 30,382 families (180,179 people), Almaty oblast - 17,698 (93,399 people) and in Shymkent - 17,275 families (88,478 people).
"In total, to date, targeted social assistance of the updated format was paid to 84,287 families for a total of 9.4 billion tenge," added in the ministry.
At the same time, the ministry reminded that targeted social assistance is paid from the month of appeal and does not depend on the day of submission of the application.
In total, more than 130 billion tenge is allocated for the targeted social assistance in 2019.
