Energy Ministry, Atyrau, Mangistau WKR governors accounted on investments attracting

RK Prime Minister Askar Mamin held a conference call on attracting investments and removing barriers to investment projects in the fuel and energy complex and in the western regions of the country, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Energy K. Bozumbayev, governors of Atyrau region N. Nogayev, Mangistau region - S. Trumov, West Kazakhstan region - G. Iskaliev reported on the work in this direction.
The volume of investments in the fuel and energy complex (FEC) in 2019 H1amounted to 2561 billion tenge, an increase of 18.6% on-year. The expected volume of investments in 2019 is 5357 billion tenge. Legislative measures are being taken to improve the tax and customs regimes, stimulate the development of petrochemical industry, electric power and renewable energy sources.
The volume of investments in fixed assets of Atyrau region in January-July 2019 amounted to 2513.9 billion tenge (118.3 on-year), Mangistau region - 291.6 billion tenge (83.2%, compared with the same period in 2018), West Kazakhstan region - 278.6 billion tenge, which is 38.3% higher than the 7 months indicator of last year.
A. Mamin emphasized the need to enhance systematic work on attracting investments, which should be carried out on a daily basis at the regional and republican levels.
The Ministry of Trade and Integration was instructed to step up efforts to remove non-physical and physical barriers in the trade of Kazakhstan businessmen with the EAEU countries.
