Alikhan Smailov held meeting on attracting investments

A weekly meeting on attracting investments was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the head of the Government.
The meeting participants reported on the progress in achieving the target indicators for attracting investments.
Projects submitted by Almaty, Mangistau and Turkestan regions, ministries of agriculture, industry and infrastructure development, digital development, innovation and aerospace industry were considered. Among them are: the construction of an airport, a cement plant, a poultry farm, an industrial complex for the production of cables and transformers, plants for the production of mineral fertilizers and animal feed, the construction of a plant for the disposal and processing of solid waste, a metallurgical plant for the production of cast iron, a meat processing complex, the development of intensive gardens and fruit processing production, fish breeding complex, etc.
The presented investments projects are deemed momentous for the country’s economic and social development and are under the personal control of the First Vice Premier.
