Kazakh Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova studied the work of the National Museum in Astana, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova studied the exhibits, located in the National Museum. Latest information about artifacts found in the mounds Taldy-2 and Berel was presented by the guide. She also visited the joint exhibition of Otrar State Archaeological Museum-Reserve and the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Azret Sultan."
"Development of the National Museum is of great importance. This year we are celebrating important dates: the 20th anniversary of the Constitution, the 20th anniversary of the Assembly, the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day, the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. We have seen new pictures, dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate, and new exhibits, displayed in the Assembly Hall", - she told reporters after the tour.
Recall, the National Museum was opened on July 2, 2014 with participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. It is unique in its architecture and is the largest museum in the Central Asian region and one of the ten largest museums in the world. Today, the museum has about 200 thousand exhibits.
As of October 1, the Museum was visited by 379 533 people.
