Kazakhstan and Italy strengthen cooperation
The two countries are developing partnership and friendly relations in many spheres.

The Central Communications Service under the President held a press conference "The Year of Italian Culture in Kazakhstan", which was attended by Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Muhamediuly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy Stefano Ravanyan and rector of Kazakh National University of Arts Aiman Musakhodzhayeva , the correspondent of Kazpravda.kz reports.
"Kazakhstan and Italy are partners in many fields and widely develop their relations in various sectors. I would particularly like to note the cultural cooperation; a lot of activities and events take place both in our country and in Italy. This year the Opera and Ballet Theatre "Astana Opera" welcomed world-famous artists, and in turn, at the invitation of the Italian side, our representatives regularly go on tour in Italy", - said Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Arystanbek Muhamediuly also stressed that he is grateful to Italy for providing archival maps, which will contribute to development of historical science of Kazakhstan.
"We have direct contacts with representatives of various departments and committees of Italy, in the future, we hope that we will obtain new information about our history," - said Muhamediuly.
Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan told about the friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries and emphasized the fact that a number of important initiatives are currently successfully implemented.
Aiman Musakhodzhayeva talked on a close contact between the two countries in the field of culture and art, and also reported that Kazakhstan and leading Italian universities signed agreements and memoranda of cooperation.
"Italy is a world cultural center in music, film, sculpture, and art. Our students are happy to go to this wonderful country. At the same time the Italians are very interested in our experience", - she said.
