Famous Kazakhstan composer Kenes Duysekeev died

The famous Kazakhstan composer, honored worker of the country, Kenes Duisekeyev has died. This was announced on his Facebook page by Marat Uteubaev, Kazpravda.kz reports.
Kenes Duysekeyev was born on February 10, 1946 in Kazalinsky district, Kyzylorda region. After school, he was admitted to the Kurmangazy State Conservatory in Almaty, composition class of Professor A. V. Bychkov.
In 1974-1976 he was music director and chief conductor of the Republican youth pop band Gulder, in 1976-1979 - musical director of Kazakhconcert, in 1975-1984 - chief editor of musical programs of the State Radio and Television of the Kazakh SSR, in 1984-1997, the art director and chief conductor of the Kazakh Pop-Symphony Orchestra of Television and Radio, since 1997 - artistic director of the Kazakh Concert.
