Artifacts found in EKR will be presented at exhibition in London

Unique finds, discovered during excavations in the Eleke Sazy tract and in the Ak-Baur temple complex, will be presented in September at the Gold of the Great Steppe exhibition in London, refers to the press service of the region’s governor Danial Akhmetov, quoting him as saying it at a meeting with writers and poets of the region.

The region’s governor met with writers and poets - natives of East Kazakhstan region: chairman of Kazakhstan Writers' Union Ulykbek Esdaulet, Alibek Askarov, Kadyrbek Segizbayev and Alibek Kantarbayev.

During the meeting, Danial Akhmetov introduced the writers to the design of the monument, which is being built for the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence in Ust-Kamenogorsk, embodying the spirit and culture of the Kazakh people, which is to become a significant historical symbol in the future.

The governor announced his intention to support the idea of resuming the publication of the almanac, in which not only recognized masters, but also young, talented authors can publish their works.

He showed photos of the artifacts discovered during excavations at the Eleke Sazy mound and in the Ak-Baur temple complex in Tarbagatai and Ulan districts of the region, and said that in September these artifacts will be presented at the exhibition Gold of the Great Steppe in London, then take a deserving place in the expositions of Kazakhstan museums.
