The book "Peacemaker" will be presented on July 2 in the RK MFA.
Astana will present a book about peacemaking activity of Nursultan Nazarbayev. This was announced by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Askar Musinov during a workshop dedicated to the study of the ideas of the fight against terrorism, world peace, mutual understanding of different cultures, initiated by the President of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"July 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan will host a presentation of the new book "Peacemaker ", which reveals hitherto unknown pages of recent history in Eurasia and the peacekeeping role of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the context of settlement of the situation in Ukraine", - said the vice minister.
However, Askar Musinov recalled the most important initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Thus, in February this year, Kazakhstan's President proposed to start development of a fundamentally new security treaty similar to the Helsinki Final Act dated 1975.
Another important initiative was the refusal from the fourth largest in the world nuclear potential and the subsequent decision to close the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site.
"Within the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Cooperation Organization in 2011, President of Kazakhstan put forward an initiative to establish the Islamic Organization for food safety with the headquarters in Astana. It is designed to solve the food security issue which is topical for the Islamic world," - said Musinov.
"I would like to note that many of the peaceful initiatives of the Head of State have found practical implementation both in Kazakhstan and abroad, have been appreciated by the world's leaders and society," - said Askar Musinov.
