Yesterday the state secretary and foreign minister Kanat Saudabayev was chairing a session on security arrangements for the OSCE summit.
The chairman of the President’s security service Muhtar Ayubayev leading the ad hoc group, the NSC chairman Nurtai Abykayev, director of the “Syrbar” foreign intelligence service Amanjol Jankuliyev, the defense minister Adilbek Jaksybekov, the interior minister Serik Baimagambetov, the minister for emergencies Vladimir Bozhko and the mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov accounted for the security arrangements.
K.Saudabayev pointed that this-scale forum is first not only in Kazakhstan, but on the entire post-soviet space too, with over 5 thousand attendees, including leaders of 56 OSCE member-states, 12 partner-states and of the international organizations.
-And it is a big honor and responsibility too. The guests’ security, order in the capital is an important factor of the summit’s success, the state secretary said. Commissions were specified in the end.
