Innovative context of cooperation between the two countries tops the agenda of VII Forum of Kazakhstan- Russia interregional cooperation with participation of Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Dmitry Medvedev, scheduled 6-7 September in Ust- Kamenogorsk, -said Ilyas Omarov, press secretary of RK MFA at the briefing.

The program envisages an exhibition of the home and Russian producers “Innovative technologies in housing maintenance and utilities” and visits to Ust- Kamenogorsk businesses, apart from the Presidents’ meeting where they’ll discuss interregional and border cooperation and implementation of previously reached agreements in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas. A range of intergovernmental agreements is expected to be signed.

I.Omarov briefed on other Kazakhstan’s external political initiatives. A Japanese parliamentary delegation led by Mune Suzuki, the chair of the international affairs’ committee of the lower chamber is paying a visit to our republic within the frames of their familiarization trip in CIS. The speaker is meeting with RK officials to consider prospects for bilateral cooperation.

In the conclusion the press secretary informed on a contest “Kazakhstan and U.S. – looking into the future” organized by RK embassy in Washington jointly with the Association of Russian-language tourist companies in U.S.

RK nationals under 30 presenting an essay “Discovering America…” to email address: info@russiantravelusa.com and kazakhembus@gmail.com with a copy of identity document (an identity card or a passport of RK national) from 2 September to 15 October are admitted.

Two winners will be granted free-of charge tour on the route “Three capitals of U.S.” – New York – Philadelphia- Washington with a short travel to Niagara waterfall. Information on winners will be placed on the sites of RK embassy in U.S. and Russian American Travel Agency.
