Yesterday the “Creative ticket” public organization, whose members are prominent men of letters, had their first meeting in the capital.

“Horizons of Astana” – was the topic of the first discussion, featuring the future image of the capital. The organization’s president Zharkynbek Alimbetov said creative people alone could change the world for the better, which is why the writers’ idea of joining in a PO “Creative ticket” was supported by the cultural elite.

-We witnessed the capital’s growth, its amazing architectural forms and the task now is to fill it with the cultural content.

The secretary of Kazakhstan writers’ union Zhanarbek Ashimjan suggested establishing in Astana an art center, a kind of a “think tank” to put the idea into life.

A prominent publicist Seitkazy Matayev, supporting the idea complained about absence of films for children about the history of Kazakhstan and its capital, and it was also offered to build a children leisure facility “Aigolek” with attractions based on Kazakh fairytales.
