1-8 September the Christie's auction house in London hosts an exhibition of Kazakh and Russian XX century art, displaying collections of RK A.Kasteyev art museum and a private collection.
The masters’ paintings reveal to the viewers the history of Kazakh national school of painting. The exposition of 50 paintings of the A.Kasteyev museum is complemented by 25 works of a private collection of Kazakh patron of arts Nurlan Smagulov, presenting the art of Kazakhstan’s painters of sixties and modern paintings.
In Western Europe it is our first scaled exposition of museum collections of real masterpieces. In the Kasteyev museum the collection will be available for viewing in 2011 year-start.
