In RK Agency for construction and housing-public utilities the 6-month performance was tallied up. As reported by the Agency’s executive secretary Salauat Dembai construction in the country is going on as slated by the State program for housing construction. In three years to come 19,3mn m2 of accommodation is to be ready, including 6,2mn m2 in the current year.

According to the statistic Agency 136,6bn tenge has been channeled to the housing construction from all the funding sources, with over 22 thousand apartments commissioned.

For the rental housing construction in this year the republic budget allocated 12,5bn tenge of target transfers to oblasts’, Astana and Almaty budgets on the state program. As of 1 July 2010 64% of that sum is disbursed.

In execution of the President’s state-of-the-nation Address measures are taken to improve the housing construction policies, with a special focus on equal partnership between citizens, Zhilstroybank, the state and construction companies. The system of housing construction savings is already applied. Besides a draft program for HPU modernization throughout the year 2020 is already in the Government for endorsement.

The situation in participatory housing construction: as stated at the session in the elapsed term under review the problems of over 45,5 thousand interest holders on 353 construction objects have been settled. By date there are 97 objects left, including 42 in Astana, 28 in Almaty and 28 in other regions. General plans for Astana and Almaty, 14 oblast centers and two satellite towns of Almaty – Golden City and Gate City are endorsed.

Carrying out architectural control of construction works the Agency has issued 204 permits for construction and installation works, quality of construction and installation is inspected with 8 orders given to law violators.
